Grief & Loss
Losing someone you love is painful. Whether their death was sudden, or you've had time to prepare, the effects of grief can be devastating. Grief is unruly. It isn't interested in schedules or obligations. It doesn't care what plans you've made. It can sneak up on you when you least expect it.
It is important to process your grief. Doing so can lead to profound, and even positive changes in your life. But first you must acknowledge it and give it your attention. Processing your grief in therapy creates time and space for you to honor the loss you are feeling.
I have worked with children as young as three to adults age 80+ in processing their grief (pet loss included). I would like to help you with yours.
